San Leon VFD was dispatched to a grass fire across from Bayshore Park. The fire was dispatched as a quickly moving grass fire so Bacliff VFD was toned for mutual aid. Dickinson VFD was also called.
Upon arrival, a small grass fire was located at the side of the road, and luckily the wind was blowing toward the road and not toward the heavy brush. Dickinson VFD was disregarded. The fire was quickly extinguished.
