San Leon Fire is Recruiting Volunteers

San Leon Fire has increased its training program for 2024; with the approval of the membership San Leon Fire has replaced one of its regularly scheduled monthly business meetings with a training drill. There will also be drills, classes, and training academies planned to meet the busy schedules of our members. So if any members of the community have been thinking of becoming a San Leon Volunteer Firefighter this would be a great time to do so.

Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Campaign

To address the challenges and help the department overcome recruitment and retention obstacles, the San Leon Volunteer Fire Department has launched the “Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Campaign”. The campaign has two main focuses; to raise awareness of the need for fire service volunteers among the public and to successfully recruit and retain volunteers. So soon you will see the San Leon Volunteer Fire Department posted at some of the public places in the community to answer questions about becoming a member of the organization and to assist you in filling out an application to get the process started. Also Every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 PM till 9 PM the department will have recruiters at the station available to answer any questions members of the community might have on becoming a volunteer and to get them started with the application process
