Our Fire Prevention Day at San Leon Elementary School was a hit! Our team at the San Leon Fire Dept took the opportunity to educate students on critical fire safety measures. We covered everything from the importance of smoke detectors and creating exit plans to the essential steps of dialing 911 and mastering stop, drop, and roll techniques. One of the highlights was giving the kids a firsthand look at firefighter gear and demonstrating the use of tools like saws and fire extinguishers. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the day.
