...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM
CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt, rough
bay waters, and Gulf seas 6 to 11 ft expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Gulf of America.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front will move offshore this
evening. Strong winds and building seas will occur in the
front`s wake, with gale conditions likely tonight through
Wednesday night. Winds may decrease Wednesday morning, but are
expected to increase again by Wednesday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
