| San Leon Fire responded to a mutual aid request from the city of Texas City for a reported building fire in the 1400 block of State Highway 146. When Engine 1 arrived, firefighters held a brief face-to-face meeting with Texas City Fire command. It was determined that the building had been abandoned for some time and was in a state of disrepair. Engine 1 personnel provided additional manpower to assist Texas City Fire with extinguishing the fire, and Tanker 1 was requested to supply additional water at the scene. |
