| On July 4th, the San Leon Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire. Upon arrival, Engine 1 reported visible flames on the Bravo side of a recreational vehicle, with a one-story residential building located approximately five feet away at risk.
Mutual aid was requested from the Bacliff and Dickinson Volunteer Fire Departments. Firefighters responded quickly and worked aggressively to contain the fire and protect the nearby structure.
The cooperative efforts of all the responding departments ensured the safety of the surrounding area and prevented further damage. |
