| San Leon Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the early morning hours on the 1300 block of Broadway.
Rescue 1 and Engine 1 arrived and found a single vehicle that had struck a mailbox before leaving the roadway and coming to rest in a ditch.
The driver required medical evaluation and was transported to the hospital for further treatment. San Leon Volunteer Fire Department personnel quickly stabilized and immobilized the patient as a precaution due to the nature of the crash and possible injuries.
Crews remained on scene to assist with patient care and ensure the area was safe. |
