| Members of the San Leon Volunteer Fire Department have successfully completed a four-day Rope Rescue and Awareness training course. The skills and knowledge acquired during the training will now be shared within the department and with neighboring mutual-aid departments.
Training like this benefits not only individual departments but also strengthens the larger fire service community. Participants had the opportunity to work alongside fellow firefighters from across the State of Texas, enhancing cooperation and preparedness.
The department recognizes the dedication of its members, who devoted four days away from their families to improve their abilities and readiness to serve during emergencies. Their commitment reflects strongly on the San Leon Volunteer Fire Department.
This coming weekend, an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) is scheduled. The department extends its appreciation to Bethel Cayuaga Fire Department for hosting the recent training, which received excellent feedback. |
