May 29 at 6:48 pm San Leon VFD was dispatched to smoke showing a possible structure fire at the Quick Pick Food Store at the corner of 9th and FM 517.
Bacliff and Dickinson VFDs were also dispatched for mutual aid.
Upon arrival, flames were emerging from under the entranceway of the business.
Dickinson VFD was disregarded and the fire was handled by San Leon and Bacliff VFDs.
The fire was isolated to the front entranceway.
The fire assignment was completed at 7:59 pm.
Engine 1, Squad 1 & Squad 2 were used in this assignment along with Bacliff's Engine 23.
