| San Leon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a mutual aid request from Texas City for a boat fire with reports of occupants trapped.
Our crews, alongside responders from Bacliff, Santa Fe, and League City, worked tirelessly to shuttle water and assist with extinguishing the fire. One occupant was able to escape the vessel, while tragically, a second was unable to make it out.
We’re grateful for the coordination and teamwork among all departments on scene. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this heartbreaking incident.
