San Leon Fire Department's new member class, 2026A, began with a successful first session. The evening focused on important objectives, including personal protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus training.

The department is still accepting applications for those in the community interested in joining. Applications can be submitted online at sanleonvfd.org or in person at the fire station on Tuesday or Thursday evenings at 7 PM. The deadline for applications is the end of this week.
