On December 23 at 7:44 AM, San Leon Fire was dispatched to a smoke investigation in the 600 block of 13th St.. On arrival Squad 2 discovered a single-family residence with smoke coming from the rear of the structure. Engine 1 stretched a line and attacked the fire; Tanker 1 established a water supply and mutual aid was requested from Bacliff Fire for additional manpower. The fire was extinguished shortly after the arrival of the FD, and no injuries were reported.
